(Les Clayes-sous-Bois – France, April 2023) – After introducing to the market in May 2021 its latest Battery Charger analyser the ATEQ BCA, ATEQ Aviation (www.ateq-aviation.com) is glad to complete its battery testing solution portfolio with the addition of two new models, which this time, will be dedicated to lead acid batteries.

ATEQ Aviation is glad to launch its brand-new Battery Charger the ATEQ BA 1500, and its new Battery Charger ATEQ BC 1500.

ATEQ BC 1500: 1440W Battery Charger for 12V/24V/40A Lead-Acid batteries

The ATEQ BC 1500 is an all-in-one diagnostic charger. It was especially developed to give information relative to the battery, and to charge it. With its robust and easy to use design it will fit all charger’s needs in a battery workshop. The icon based 4,3” touchscreen interface allows any technician to begin as an expert. No training is required. The device is fully automatic plug & play; no set up is required; just connect the clamps to the battery, and you are ready to go.

The BC 1500 will give you a quick diagnostic on the state of health of your lead acid battery. It will measure internal resistance and its charge level. The BC 1500 will then charge your battery at constant current/constant voltage.

Thanks to its 4,3’’ LCD icon-based colour touchscreen, the ATEQ BC 1500 is both very simple to operate and user friendly. No prior training or set up is required to use the charger. You can just connect the clamps to the battery, and you can easily and simply launch your diagnosis or battery charge cycle very easily with a simple touch on the screen.

Plug & Play

The biggest advantage of the BC 1500 is its extensive embedded database. Thanks to a large battery models database, you can easily find the reference of your lead-acid battery, whatever aircraft model you are operating on. The BC 1500 is compliant with all aviation lead acid battery manufacturers. Just simply select your battery model directly from our embedded database on the charger and then start your battery charge cycle directly, the program is launched automatically.

Safety

The robust design of the product thanks to its anodized aluminum body will make this charger a long time maintenance equipment you can rely on ready to perform numerous battery maintenances. Internal components also prevent the operator from any security issue with self-protected reverse polarity indicator and constant voltage and current monitoring.

Connectivity & Traceability

The BC 1500 has Wi-Fi integrated. Save all your job reports. You can find, edit, print your job report with thanks to the thermal printer. You can also download your job report at any time to a USB key, or onto a PC. All batteries are separately identified during their entire life time.
