Clean & Efficient Shore Power OPS Systems for Ports & Vessels by ElectroAir
The future of marine electrification: scalable OPS solutions to reduce emissions, noise and fuel burn at berth
ElectroAir’s Marine Shore Power (Onshore Power Supply - OPS) systems are designed to provide vessels of all types - passenger ferries, cruise liners, naval ships, cargo carriers, and service boats, with clean, silent, and efficient electrical power while docked at port. By allowing ships to shut down onboard auxiliary engines, these solutions drastically reduce CO₂, NOₓ, and SOₓ emissions, lower fuel consumption, and eliminate portside noise pollution - supporting both regulatory compliance and environmental goals for ports and shipping companies.
Our OPS infrastructure includes both onshore and onboard components tailored to each port and vessel type. Shore-side systems feature rugged, containerized or fixed-frequency converters (50/60/400Hz), smart ESC-type shore connection cabinets, cable reels, and integrated energy monitoring systems (EMS/SCADA). ElectroAir also offers hybrid integrations with battery storage and renewable energy sources, enabling ports to transition to more flexible and sustainable operations.
On the vessel side, the EAC-400M marine-grade converter ensures safe voltage and frequency adaptation between shore grid and onboard systems. Built with corrosion-resistant materials and marine-specific protections, it guarantees performance under extreme weather, vibration, and saltwater exposure.
With decades of experience in power electronics and over 500 clients worldwide, ElectroAir delivers turnkey OPS systems fully compliant with IEC/ISO/IEE standards, tailored to the specific grid conditions and operational demands of each installation. Our technology supports EU port decarbonization targets and IMO shore power mandates, helping port authorities, terminal operators, and shipowners meet emissions reduction goals without compromising on performance or safety.
Whether for cruise terminals, ferry routes, naval bases, or commercial ports, ElectroAir’s shore power systems offer a proven, future-ready solution for marine electrification and green port transformation.
