Which type of Fix-Wing Simulator do I need?
Here is a guide made especially for you to help you choose the best suitable simulator matching your needs and requirements.
Flight simulators have assimilated a huge amount of interest in the past years and have proven to be worthy investments in flight training organizations. During the pandemic years, as many planes were grounded, flight simulators were regarded as “safe working zones” for both students and instructors. A simulator is nowadays considered a “must have” for a FTO (Flight Training Organization). Potential new students will almost always opt for the school that runs a simulator, so you are at the right place here. Beneath you will find concise and necessary pieces of information for each simulator type to help you purchase the “perfect match”!

The sky is the limit: FTD (Level 1, 2 & 3) fixed or rotary wings possible
Terminology: (FTD) Flight Training Device (custom build)
Are you looking for something truly exclusive? Do you want ELITE to produce a flight simulator that will go beyond your imagination? This is the new future. Come on board with ELITE and find out all about the benefits of an FTD and how you can present your pilots with this innovative world of flight simulators.
An FTD is a highly sophisticated customer build simulator and will cover all of the above credits an FNPT II offers – and more. We can even use an original formerly airworthy cockpit which will make the simulator experience even more realistic. Single or twin engine, Multiple Crew Coordination (MCC) and modern instrumentation combined with Dual Electro-Mechanical Dynamic Control Loading Yoke and Pedals will give yourself and your student a sensational flight experience and the very best ELITE has to offer.
“This device covers normally most requirements for the FNPT II MCC and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, since it is necessary to determine which systems are simulated and which are not”, says ELITE head of QTG (Quality Test Guidance) Eduardo A. Schwencke.

Important additional information for potential customers:
Of course, all of our flight simulators come with a 2 year warranty.
All simulators used for flight crew training require a valid FSTD (Flight Simulation Training Device) qualification certificate. This will be issued by a competent authority, normally the country or region where the simulator is being used.
The main authorities are the North American FAA (Federal Aviation Authority), the European EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) or the Swiss BAZL (Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt). Other major certificate issuing authorities are CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) in Australia, SA CAA in South Africa and the Indian DGAC amongst others.
ELITE has built a strong and consistent relationship with these authorities. The process of certification is being organized by ELITE and a qualified Qualification Test Guide Engineer who will be on site.
