At noon on June 20, 2024, Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the China-Malaysia Business Luncheon with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar in Kuala Lumpur and delivered a speech. About 200 representatives from the business community of China and Malaysia attended the luncheon, and Ma Haibing, Chairman of Jiangsu Tianyi Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. was invited to attend and received by Premier Li Qiang after the luncheon.

Before the luncheon officially started, Premier Li Qiang said in his speech that over the past 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, economic and trade cooperation has been playing a very important role in the relationship between the two countries. In recent years, the scale of China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation has been growing rapidly, the fields have been broadening, the quality has been continuously improved, showing a thriving and prosperous situation. With the further development of China-Malaysia relations, the development strategies of the two countries continue to dovetail, complementary advantages continue to emerge, and industrial upgrading continues to advance, which will bring more new opportunities for the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and for enterprises of the two countries to invest in business. Premier Li Qiang pointed out that the majority of enterprises, as the main force of China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation, are an important foundation for the healthy development of relations between the two countries. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar said in his speech that China is a tolerant and friendly country that can understand different cultures. Malaysia and China have always insisted on mutual respect and mutual learning, and their cooperation is mutually beneficial. The Malaysia-China relationship is rich in connotation and far-reaching in significance.
