Jiangsu Tianyi Wins Third Prize in the Seventh National Robotics High-Value Patent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

On December 10, 2024, the 7th National Robotics High Value Patent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Award Ceremony and Transfer and Transformation Matchmaking Meeting was held in Wuhu City, Anhui Province. The organizers of this year's event include the China Invention Association, the Anhui Provincial Market Supervision Administration, and the Wuhu Municipal People's Government, with the aim of encouraging the in-depth fusion of robotics with new-generation information technologies such as the digital economy, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, 5G, big data, cloud computing, and other new-generation information technologies, and to promote innovation in the industry.

This year's competition attracted 174 outstanding projects from all over the country, with participants from more than 20 universities, including Harbin Institute of Technology and Beijing Institute of Technology, as well as nearly 100 enterprises. These projects involved nearly 1,000 patents, showing China's in-depth R&D capability in robotics and related fields.

After the preliminary rounds and the review rounds, 30 projects were finally selected for the final round, of which 8 projects defended their roadshows. A number of experts were invited to review the final, which finally produced 1 grand prize, 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 10 third prizes and 12 excellent prizes. In addition, 4 Best Organization Awards were also selected. The expert committee pointed out that this year's participating projects have improved in terms of innovation and market transformation ability.
