For a long time, when aviation ground support equipment is used to ensure aircraft operations, it is often affected by factors such as line of sight, weather, specific locations, human factors, and work efficiency. It is a potential risk factor that troubles the safety of civil aircraft, and incidents of equipment hitting aircraft occur from time to time. With the wide application of new materials (new composite materials) in new aircraft and the rapid development of the civil aviation industry, the harm of contact impact to aircraft has become increasingly prominent. Solving this problem is particularly important and urgent.

In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 913 of the IATA Safety Operating Manual 2017 Edition, Tianyi Company actively responds to the standard demands of the industry and is committed to the advanced safety of its equipment in line with international standards. In early 2017, in collaboration with several experts from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beihang University and the School of Automotive Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology, we jointly developed this TY-ASD system. The technology of this system has reached the international advanced level. Meet the requirements of the latest civil aviation standard "Safety Technical Requirements for Aircraft Ground Service Equipment Docking" (AC-137-CA-2020-01).

IATA clearly stipulates that when contact-type airport ground support equipment docks with aircraft, a safety deceleration monitoring system for aircraft contact should be installed to enhance the reliability and safety of the equipment's contact with the aircraft and minimize the occurrence of contact impacts

The 3D sensor collects the distance information of obstacles within a height range of 4 meters up and down and a width range of 1.5 meters on each side ahead. It detects 1024 laser beams, and the distance of any laser beam can be measured. The shortest distance is calculated and processed at a speed of 0.1 seconds, and it is not afraid of extreme weather such as sand, snow, rain, fog and thunder, achieving full coverage of civil aviation equipment
