ASU290/Aircraft Ground Air Supply Unit (Diesel Towing Type) Applicable Aircraft Models: Boeing 707, 717, 727, 737 series (-100, -200, -300, -400, -500, -600, -700, -800, -900), 757, 767, 747 series, some B777, DC8, DC9, DC10, MD80 series (81, 82, 83, 88), MD90, MD11, Airbus A320 series (A321, A320, A319, A318), A300, A310, A330, that is, all models except those equipped with GE90 engines.
The ASU290/ground air source unit for aircraft (internal combustion type towing) has its engine and compressor directly connected through an elastic coupling. The unit is connected to the chassis frame via legs and shock absorbers, thus preventing the transmission of vibrations and reducing noise. The exhaust pipe of the engine is equipped with an exhaust muffler. The intercooler and the muffler are connected by a union, a bend, and a metal bellows. The muffler is installed outside the cover shell. This effectively reduces vibrations, noise, and enhances the high-temperature performance of the air source vehicle.
