Tianyi GSE Conducts On-Site Inspection and Specialized Product Training at Beijing Air Catering

To continuously enhance the maintenance and support level of aviation ground equipment and reinforce the safety foundation of air catering ground operations, the technical service team from Jiangsu Tianyi Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. (Tianyi GSE) recently visited Beijing Air Catering Co., Ltd. to carry out a full-process inspection of its in-service electric and Diesel aviation catering vehicles, and to organize specialized hands-on product training for frontline operators and maintenance personnel.

As a leading domestic aviation catering service provider, Beijing Air Catering has purchased a large number of Tianyi GSE electric aviation catering vehicles and internal-combustion refrigerated catering trucks, which undertake the core tasks of meal transportation and in-flight catering docking for multiple airlines. The reliable operation of this equipment directly impacts flight support efficiency and meal food safety. The on-site service was divided into two key phases: comprehensive equipment inspection and standardized hands-on training.

During the inspection phase, Tianyi technical engineers conducted item-by-item checks on all electric and internal-combustion catering equipment on site, with a focus on: high-voltage electrical control systems, power battery status, hydraulic lifting mechanisms, and insulation sealing of refrigerated compartments for electric models; and engine performance, refrigeration units, parking supports, and operational parameters of safety aircraft-docking anti-collision systems for internal-combustion refrigerated trucks. Simultaneously, they recorded equipment operation logs, performed on-site adjustments and repairs for minor wear-and-tear components, and compiled complete inspection reports that identified medium- and long-term maintenance intervals, effectively eliminating hidden risks of equipment operation under faulty conditions.

The training session adopted a "theoretical instruction + on-site vehicle drill" model. The instructors delivered detailed explanations on the differentiated operating procedures for electric versus internal-combustion catering equipment, covering: high-voltage safety protection, charging procedures, and daily battery care for electric vehicles; and cold-start procedures, refrigeration temperature control, fuel system maintenance, and emergency shutdown handling for internal-combustion vehicles. They also addressed frequently asked questions from Beijing Air Catering's frontline shift teams on the spot, demonstrated standard workflows for lifting platform docking, meal container loading/unloading, and rapid fault diagnosis, and conducted group hands-on assessments to ensure that all operators fully grasped equipment performance characteristics and followed standardized operating procedures.

The equipment management director of Beijing Air Catering commented that Tianyi GSE's integrated on-site inspection and customized training service effectively resolved frontline maintenance challenges, significantly reduced the risk of equipment breakdowns, and provided solid support for stable meal distribution during peak flight schedules.
