Agricultural revolution
At an early date of 2050, the population will need 70% more food. That is why the group of experienced Dutch engineers established the company Drone4Agro. And MGM COMPRO is going to play an important role.
However, Drone4Agro is not just the name of this Dutch start-up but also of a multicopter with 12 propellers that is going to be certified in two years. This compact multicopter is quite easy not just to maintain but also to use because it does not require any runways for taking off.
Its 12 propellers let carry 100 – 150kg and fly safely even if two propellers are out of order. Emergency landing is provided by a safety parachute.
For the future, such drones can be used not only for agriculture and transportation but also for fire security and rescue services.
MGM COMPRO supplies Drone4Agro with the whole propulsion system, in particular: industrial speed controllers (ESC), electric motor Rotex Electric, custom-built Li-Ion battery packs, battery management systems (BMS) and industrial balancing chargers.
