Affordable VIP airport service launches at London Luton

Personal airport service Fastrack VIP has launched at London Luton, offering affordable luxury services to passengers traveling through the airport.

Prices start from £89.99 (US$117), with the discounts and services available including up to 20% discount on parking, and a Fastrack VIP ‘assistant’ that greets the customer with a luggage trolley and guides them through check-in, baggage drop, security and on to the departure gate.

For the £149.99 package, passengers can also gain access to the executive airport lounge with complimentary food and drink, trackable labelling packs, and 30% car parking discount being among the perks on offer.

Other services include personal shopping, travel tips, and advice on shopping and airport offers.

Liz Turner from Fastrack VIP said, “This is a brand new, innovative service which will be accessible to all customers. It’s easy to book, affordable, and enables travelers to have a stress-free, hassle-free experience as soon as they turn up to the airport – right through to stepping onto the plane.

“We saw a real gap in the market for this sort of ‘package’ service. People are often tired of the indignity of traveling from some UK airports. The queuing, the rushing, and sometimes the unfamiliarity of airports causes stress and anxiety – quite often at a time when you want to relax and enjoy the very start of your holiday.”

The service is being piloted from July 10, and is also being trialled for those flying back to the UK. Upon returning to the country, travelers can take advantage of the arrivals package where they will be met by their assistant, fast tracked through passport control, and assisted through baggage reclaim.

Fastrack VIP also plans to pilot the service at Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
