Aero-Dienst Receives Bombardier Award for the Third Time Running

Nuremberg, 11 October (sr): On 11 October 2017, Aero-Dienst was awarded the ‘Bombardier Business Aircraft Authorized Service Facility (ASF) Excellence Award’ in the categories ‘Worldwide’ and ‘Europe’.

The Nuremberg specialist for maintenance, operation, sales and management of business aircraft has now received the Excellence Award for the third time in a row as the Overall and Europe categories and once in 2013 as the winner in the European category. Bombardier has been presenting this award for outstanding quality, performance and customer service annually since 2011.

CEO Viktor Peters has this to say about Aero-Dienst’s success: “This hattrick as worldwide No. 1 is a fantastic honor for our employees who have been doing that extra bit for the customers for many years. Time and again, we as a team are faced with new challenges, and then we apply our Aero-Dienst spirit to tackle them transparently and flexibly for our customers and with our customers. And of course there is still plenty of room for improvement.”

Aero-Dienst Head of Maintenance André Ebach accepted the award during an official ceremony on the occasion of the 70th National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada. He declared: “We are very gratified about the excellent cooperation with Bombardier. This award shows that, together, we support Challenger and Learjet customers with highest levels of service.”

“These awards recognize our authorized facilities’ commitment to serving operators of Bombardier Business Aircraft with superior quality and performance, effectively supporting our mutual goal to maximize the efficiency of our customers’ operations,” said Bill Molloy, Vice-President, Aftermarket Sales and Commercial Strategy, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

Aero-Dienst’s four maintenance hangars are currently well utilized. Major maintenance checks are being carried out for the respective aircraft types. Bombardier aircraft have been an important part of Aero-Dienst’s service training, providing the staff with the extensive experience, knowledge and high quality competencies necessary for aircraft maintenance.

The competent workforce in Germany is professionally supplemented by the efficient Line Station team in Vienna in Austria. Together, Aero-Dienst technicians throughout the world provide the best possible, round-the-clock AOG- (Aircraft on Ground) support for its growing international customer base.
