Premium onboard service for Palm Springs getaways with JetBlue

JetBlue will offer its premium service, JetBlue Mint, on aircraft flying between New York and Palm Springs, California, on peak days from December 21, 2017, to January 3, 2018.

“With Palm Springs Mint flights our customers looking for a West Coast warm-up or an East Coast escape can elevate their travel experience this holiday season with lie-flat seats, tapas-style dining, curated wines and much, much more,” said Marty St George, executive vice president commercial and planning, JetBlue.

Service on board is provided by specially trained crew. The tapas-style menu was created by New York restaurant Saxon + Parole, and is complemented by a signature cocktail, local ‘artisanal’ ice cream and espresso brewed with what the company calls “the first purpose-built cappuccino machine for a US airline”. The service also includes amenity kits by Hayward and Hopper.

The A321 with Mint aircraft also features JetBlue’s new ‘core experience’, which includes 10in IFE screens and power outlets throughout, a self-serve snack and soft drink station, free broadband internet over the contiguous USA, and PED access to JetBlue’s Hub content.
