Fraport expands food and beverage offering at BWI Airport

Concessionaire Fraport USA, a subsidiary of German airport operator Fraport, has opened three new restaurants in the Airmall shopping center at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) in Maryland. There are also plans to open a new MAC Cosmetics store selling the latest make-up and beauty products.

Brett Kelly, vice president of Airmall Maryland, said, “We are always focused on enhancing the passenger experience by bringing innovative and fun dining options as well as highly desirable retail brands to BWI. These three new restaurants add unique and delicious flavors to the BWI dining scene, and the new MAC Cosmetics will definitely be a place to stop by for all of your cosmetic needs.”

Covering 2,700ft² on Concourse D, La Carnita provides seating for up to 70 travelers and serves Mexican street cuisine with a twist, including egg tortas, huervos rancheros, chilaquas, tacos and tostadas.

On Concourse C, Sweet Jesus caters to passengers looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. This soft serve ice cream shop is notable for its over-the-top confectionery creations including its featured frozen offerings Sweet Baby Jesus, Red Rapture and Bounty Killah.

Urban Burger is located in the food court in the Main Terminal and offers a wide selection of burgers, hot dogs, salads, shakes and breakfast items in the spirit of classic burger joints.
