Joint Venture Set Up To Run Singapore Bizjet Terminal

A tripartite team of SATS Ltd., Jet Aviation, and Universal Aviation Singapore have formed a joint venture to run the business aviation wing of the new Singapore Seletar terminal. The group hopes to draw from the expertise of each of the three stakeholders: gateway service, bizjet services, and ground handling, respectively.

Called SATS Seletar Aviation Services (SSAS), the company will manage the Singapore Business Aviation Centre, co-located at the Seletar Terminal that is slated to open by December. The Seletar Terminal will be operated by Changi Airport Group.

“Luxury travelers have specific needs and expectations. Combining SATS’s technological innovation and years of food solutions and gateway services experience with our partners’ knowledge of the private jet market, we will offer a bespoke travel experience that provides privileged comfort private jet travelers desire,” said Bob Chi, chairman of SSAS and senior vice president of sales and marketing.
