FMT is proud to be supplier of Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems

Ashgabat International Airport in Turkmenistan was officially opened by the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 17th of September. FMT is proud to be supplier of Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems type APIS and Stand Management System type Atlantis at the new airport. During the impressive ceremony in Ashgabat FMT was represented by the Managing Director Peter Skoog.

The total area of the main terminal building is more than 190 000 m² and has got a capacity of 14 million passengers per year. Together with the second terminal for 3 million passengers, the modern airport will be able to serve more than 17 million passengers per year or around 2000 passengers per hour. More than 200 000 tons of cargo will be able to transit via the cargo terminal.

The design of the airport is unique and highly recognized for its beauty and functionality by international design associations.

FMT has more than 2000 Docking Systems and a substantial numbers of Stand Management Systems installed worldwide and operates in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
