Air Cruise Operator Selects VIP-outfitted A321LR

Seattle-based TCS World Travel will be introducing a VIP-outfitted Airbus A321LR for its “air cruising” world tour business.

Due to enter service in 2021, the narrowbody jet will be outfitted with 52 first-class-like seats with lie-flat capability. “The cabin…has been designed as a ‘home away from home,’ with comfort and relaxation in mind,” said Airbus Corporate Jets head of creative design Sylvain Mariat.

“The A321LR will deliver new standards in the comfort and convenience that our passengers expect, save time by linking distant destinations nonstop, and be nimble enough to fly in and out of airports close to World Heritage sites,” said TCS president Shelley Cline. “It will also decrease our future carbon footprint by burning 20 percent less fuel than our current jet.”

TCS’s current fleet includes two Boeing 757s (one with 52 seats, the other with 76), a 28-seat Airbus A318, a 46-seat Fokker 70, and a 14-seat Dassault Falcon 900C. The company presently lists about one dozen exotic globe-trotting trips in 2020 that range from three days to just shy of a month.
