We’re back! Discover our latest innovations at FIA2022

It’s been four long years, but Teijin Aramid and Teijin Carbon are back at the Farnborough International Airshow! During July 18-22, we’ll be partnering with FIA2022 to present our latest innovations in performance fibers and composites.

Teijin Aramid and Teijin Carbon share more than just their membership in the Teijin family. Both specialize in the fiber materials that sustain the top performance and safety of aerospace applications as well as across a wide range of applications.

Our flagship fibers

Aramids are strong, heat-resistant polyamide fibers, which are no stranger to keeping people safe in the most extreme situations. Their properties also makes them perfect for the aerospace industry, where strength and fire safety are paramount.

Our para-aramids Twaron® and Technora® cover almost any imaginable usecase and can be applied in many formats. From fire-resistant textiles and ballistic panels to air cargo container panels, these versatile fibers work hard to earn their place at the core of modern, safe aircraft.

Carbon fiber is more of a household name than aramids, although both are essential. Tenax® carbon fiber become the industry-standard material for a wide variety of components due to their light weight and strength, allowing more lift and increased safety and comfort.

We’ve been refining and perfecting both our aramid and carbon fibers over decades, and we constantly update our products to fit our customers’ evolving needs. That’s why they come in so many different forms.
