Major airports in Southeast Asia invest in aircraft recovery preparedness and choose RESQTEC

In line with ICAO recommendations and industry best practices five major airports in Southeast Asia decided to invest in its preparedness for incidents with disabled aircraft in order to reduce their impact on the operations of these airports.

These airports include:

• Singapore Changi Airport – Singapore

• Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport – Mumbai, India

• Brunei International Airport – Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei

• Nội Bài International Airport – Hanoi, Vietnam

• Yangon International Airport – Yangon, Myanmar

By acquiring RESQTEC’s latest aircraft recovery technologies, including the R2S system, these airports will bring down the runway closure time after an incident by more than 50%. On request of the aviation industry RESQTEC developed a unique solution to lift and recover the new generation of aircraft that are larger, heavier and have a new wing designs. The R2S lifting system was specifically designed to allow for controlled and continuous lifting in one shot, over a changing angle, without affecting the stability of the aircraft and incurring secondary damages. The equipment works on every aircraft, is quick and easy to use and extremely durable. This allows for a short set up time and ensures the fast removal of disabled aircraft.
